Jasmine Morgan

Singer & Songwriter

Jasmine Morgan was born to entertain! The talented 16-year-old discovered the stage when she was cast as a munchkin in her schools production of “The Wizard of Oz.” Memorizing the entire play and performing it for the family that night awakened the talent within. Wasting no time, she asked her mom to video her youthful renditions of her favorite songs and post them on YouTube. She immediately garnered hundreds of followers and knew exactly what she wanted to do ‘when she grew up!’

About Me

“As a kid, I was a Hannah Montana fan, and sang a lot of Miley Cyrus songs,” Jasmine confesses. “But when I saw Miley sing Jolene as a duet with Dolly Parton, I knew that was the kind of music that I wanted to sing. I loved Jolene, so I learned it and started singing it. I started investigating older country, not just the poppy country you hear on the radio. I decided that I wanted to perform a mix of country styles.”

“I’d love to do a duet with Chris Stapleton,” she continues. “His style is bluesy country and his voice is cool, kind of new and spicy. And my favorite female artists have their own vocal style as well, ladies like Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris and the Pistol Annies. Miranda has attitude, Maren writes and sings really spunky songs and if I could join the Pistol Annies for a day, that would be so cool!!!”

Although only 16, Jasmine is ready to accelerate her career. Making regular trips to Nashville from Texas, working with a top artist development team: including Dennis Management, the firm who guided the careers of artists such as Jeff Carson and Michael Peterson; world renowned vocal coach Renee Grant Williams, who has nurtured the voices of artists including Miley Cyrus, Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill; and Donna Caldwell PR expert and former CBS/Paramount TV music director. Development includes music publishing, licensing, songwriting sessions, and vocal sessions.

Recent News

Recently she was invited to perform a duet with platinum selling country music artist Michael Peterson at a pre-Christmas concert for the entrepreneur organization, CEO Space. Following a rehearsal for their duet, Jasmine and Michael enjoyed an inaugural co-writing session, after which Michael agreed to future sessions with her as she builds her catalog of songs for her first release.

“I was so excited about this performance. CEO Space inspires people to be the best they can be. This really was the perfect collaboration for me because I also want to inspire people!”

Jasmine hopes to utilize her keen songwriting skills to inspire her peers. “I write about teenage problems,” she says. “Young girls think that they have to be perfect in everyone’s eyes; perfect on social media, taking photos to get that perfect angle. No one is perfect – just be you – you really are perfect in your own way.”
